This zoo has a unique history and is one of oldest zoos in America.
There are many exhibits and shows for the young and old.

The zoo also features a vegetable garden, animal demonstrations & a suspended bridge over a peaceful pond. During the warmer months, wander through the Lorikeet Landing, an open air aviary of freely flying exotic birds and they'll even feed out of your hand.
The zoo has something for people of all ages from the Zoo Snooze where you 'll see what happens to the animals when the zoo closes for the day as the sun goes down to Wild Workshops that lets you get behind the scenes at the zoo.
